Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC) Meeting:

The overall goal of the Eleventh Congress of Chest Pain Centers is to deliver current, practical education in coronary disease management to emergency medicine and cardiology physicians and nurses, EMS personnel, and other interested healthcare professionals. The diagnosis and treatment of ACS and ADHF have undergone monumental changes over the past few years.  Advances in pharmacology and technology have transformed the way current clinical practices in coronary disease are assessed, diagnosed, treated, and managed.  This conference is designed to cover ED processes as they relate to the Chest Pain Center model for acute ACS care; review and update attendees on current ACC/AHA STEMI/NSTEMI/UA guidelines, identify strategies for the management of ACS patients, and educate on best observation medicine practices for the ADHF patients in the ED.
