Instrumentation
Nanogen offers a multi-functional portable instrument, the DXpress™ Reader, used to read results of quantitative in vitro immunodiagnostic assays. The reader works in conjunction with Nanogen's Vyent™* product line to measure and display quantitative results. This easy-to-use instrument is ideal for use at the point-of-care and in central laboratory settings.

Reagents
Nanogen's real-time PCR detection reagents are available as MGB Alert® Analyte Specific Reagents (ASRs) in the US and Q-PCR Alert™ Test Kits outside of the US. By leveraging the benefits of our proprietary MGB™ probe technology, MGB Alert detection reagents are able to provide molecular labs with more powerful tools for detecting nucleic acid sequences of specific organisms associated with disease. Q-PCR Alert kits use a combination of our MGB technology as well as conventional Taqman® chemistry, under license from Roche Diagnostics. Available in the US as FDA cleared unassayed quality control materials, Nanogen also offers Real-Time PCR Internal Control Sets that detect variation that may arise during the DNA or RNA extraction and amplification process associated with real-time PCR assays.

Test Kits
Cardiovascular diseases rank among the leading causes of death and it is expected that the economic impact of these diseases on our healthcare system will continue to grow with the aging worldwide population. Nanogen is working in multiple ways to improve patient care by providing the medical community with rapid cardiac diagnostic tests that give them better information faster, enabling better patient care in urgent care situations. Nanogen offers Vyent™*, Cardiac STATus® and Decision Point™ product lines which include rapid test kits that aid in the diagnosis of several cardiovascular diseases. Nanogen's rapid test kits determine one or more of the following biomarkers: NT-proBNP, Troponin I, CK-MB, Myoglobin, D-Dimer.

CE Kits
Available only outside the US, Nanogen's Q-PCR Alert Test Kits are CE marked and labeled for use as in vitro diagnostics (CE-IVD). Q-PCR (quantitative polymerase chain reaction) Alert Test Kits use a combination of Nanogen's MGB Technology as well as conventional Taqman chemistry, under license from Roche Diagnostics. All Q-PCR Alert kits have been developed by the Nanogen Advanced Diagnostics (NAD) research and development team.
