Since December of 2003, all the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs) marketed in the European Union (EU) must bear the CE Mark, and companies that market products in the EU must have a Authorized Representative based in Europe. The purpose of this EU Directive is to ensure that only safe and functional diagnostic products are sold in the European market, with clearly outlined regulations regarding the design, manufacturing, import and marketing of diagnostic kits.

All NAD products are in keeping with the European Directive 98/79/EC.

NAD products are based on the most reliable and advanced technologies available today: Taqman® chemistry, a type of real time PCR reaction for which NAD is licensed by Roche Diagnostics; MGB probes, a proprietary technology to increase PCR specificity and sensitivity.
