The NanoChip® 400 instrument for DNA -based analyses represents the next generation of microarray technology that will enable multiplexed assays to be used routinely and cost-effictively in molecular research laboratories with great ease and flexibility. It is an automated system that is used in a wide range of applications including mutation/polymorphism detection, pharmacogenetic testing, and pahtogen sequence detection.

• Automated genotyping or pathogen sequence detection of multiple samples simultaneously;
• Automated post-PCR reduces risks for contamination and human error;
• Software driven reagents, sample dispensing, and bar code reading support walk-away and error-free traceability.

The NanoChip 400 is a flexible closed and open system capable of detecting multiple targets for individual samples, and of analyzing multiple samples on the same microarray without the need for pre-made content or synthesized capture spots. It has the flexibility of running research or custom assays without investing in multiple systems or changing existing DNA or RNA extraction and amplification methods. The heart of this technology is the patented NanoChip Electronic Microarray which comes in 100 or 400 test site cartridges.
